SRS FTM

For females transitioning to males we require 2 years of hormone therapy with a full psychological report from your psychiatrist and a report from your endocrinologist before we can proceed.The purpose of hormone therapy is to change the physical appearance into that of the desired gender. The effects of testosterone on females:

• Beard and moustache growth
• Deepening of the voice
• Enlargement of the clitoris
• Increased growth of body hair
• Increased muscle mass and strength
• Redistribution of fat from the breasts, hips, and thighs to the abdominal area6
• Development of acne, much like in male puberty
• Baldness or localized hair loss, especially at the temples and crown of the head
• Atrophy of the uterus and ovaries, resulting in an inability to have children FTM is done typically in two stages :

Stage 1

• Full hysterectomy/vaginectomy (Removal of the uterus and ovaries)
• Phalloplasty – we usually take skin from the forearm and construct it to become the shaft of the penis
• Requires 5 nights hospital stay and 14night total stay.

Stage 2 6 months later

• Scrotal implants and erectile device.

How much is SRS surgery in Turkey?

The cost of SRS FTM depends on if we are doing the top surgery (mastectomy) and bottom surgery together. The price can range anywhere up to £80 000 for FTM due to our high experience and comprehensive services.
